Today, I found myself driving through the beautiful National Parks of Canada and thinking about my friends.
One year ago, I took a trip to Banff with Susan (The Great Balancing Act), and Holly (The Healthy Everythingtarian). We had a blast eating delicious meals out, hiking up Banff’s tallest mountain, and taking pictures by pristine mountain lakes. When it came time to say goodbye to my blogger friends, I was genuinely sad to go.
Since then I have stayed close with Susan, even meeting up with her a few months later in Toronto over bagels. On that occasion, Susan brought her mother and I did too! It was a fantastic outing that I hoped to repeat again.
But a few months ago, my friend Susan moved back to New Brunswick following a terrible ice skating accident that shattered her elbow. This week, she began to experience pain in her neck and has now received some devastating news.
Susan is young, vibrant, and joyful. And yet, I know she must be going through a rough time right now.
It’s no secret that I believe in miracles and the power of prayer; with that in mind, I can only ask one thing of you.
Please pray for my friend, Susan.
