It All Started with a Walk By the Ocean – a Second Anniversary Post

by torontogirlwest on November 10, 2012

Oak Bay Sunset

It all started with a walk by the ocean.

Couple on Granville Island

And quickly progressed to adventures both near and far.

Couple in Ensenada Mexico

There was laughter a plenty.

Fooling around in California Adventure

And the celebration of some milestone events.

Couple after a 10k

Then the boy and girl moved far away from the coast where they met . . . to the spectacular Rocky Mountains.

Couple Glacier National Park

There the boy and girl discovered wondrous new places.

Couple at the Hoodoos

Until one day the boy asked the girl a question that she said yes to!

Someday Somebody's Going to Ask You

Along the way, they added a puppy to their bourgeoning family.

Puppy Halloween

Before making it official.

Couple at a Civil Wedding

Wedding in Mexico

Two years have passed since that day in Mexico.

Couple St. Kitts

And the boy and girl still plan adventures . . .

Couple on Mount Tolmie

….a lifetime of them!!!!

Today, two years ago I married my best friend, my lobster, and my partner in crime. I can honestly say I love him more today than ever. We have been blessed with health, careers, a gorgeous puppy daughter, a beautiful home, family and friends, and most of all each other!

To my handsome husband – I can’t wait to see what adventures life has in store for us!!

Happy Anniversary!!!

Question: Do you have any anniversary traditions? I think celebrating on a holiday will be ours – last year we took a cruise and this year we’re planning on a weekend away in December!

Happy anniversary!

Out tradition is pretty traditional, gifts and a romantic dinner! Most importantly to remember once again how lucky we are to have each other.
