Mondays are a funny thing, they’re at once a time of new beginnings and the end of something glorious.
I don’t know about you but as much as I look forward to a fresh start, I mourn the loss of a couple of fantastic days.
That’s what brought me to start my Monday Inspiration posts – because we all could use a little spark to start our week. And so for today’s Monday Inspiration, I’ve decided to share some of the pictures of the city that I visit in my dreams.
You see ten years ago, I lived in Paris. I was 22 and it was a magical time in my life. Far away from home, in a city steeped in history and beauty, I found myself. Those will forever be the good old days.
It’s been eight years since I last saw the city I love. But in my dreams, I still walk those streets, humming the songs of Les Miserables and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Just like the good old days . . .

Question: If you’re a blogger – how did you choose your blog name? My very first blog was called “A Canadian in Paris.” Back then I was studying abroad and it proved a fantastic way to keep my loved ones back home up to date on my adventures! I still love that blog title and if it weren’t for my obvious change in location, I would still be “A Canadian in Paris!”
