Hello everyone! I’m Toronto Girl West and I’m absolutely thrilled that you’ve chosen to visit my home here in the blogosphere!
Pull up a chair won’t you, and let me tell you a bit about myself.
As you have probably gathered I am a big city girl through and through. I started off life in the capital of my small Central American country before emigrating with my family to Canada’s largest city, Toronto.
I unabashedly heart Toronto. To this day, I will wax poetic about the beauty of my home town.
But as much as I loved Toronto, there eventually came a time for me to spread my wings and explore other places. And so it was that my studies took me to places my younger self had only dreamed of visiting.
For one spectacular season of my life, I lived in Paris. When I am old and grey I will surely tell stories of “the good old days.”
The girl who arrived in Paris is very different from the girl that left that beautiful city. I had matured and somehow come into my own.
My adventures in Europe prepared me for the next stage – life in the beautiful West Coast.
I arrived in British Columbia determined to study law and beat a hasty return to Ontario. Six years later I’m still here.
Mind you there are a couple of reasons I never left. For starters, it really is spectacularly beautiful out West.
There’s nothing like the rugged coast lines, gorgeous mountains, glacier fed lakes, and lush valleys of this Province.
Besides, I met the two loves of my life here.
And the Puppy (Daisy).
How could a girl leave!?!?
So that’s my story in a nutshell. What’s yours?
